SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Our client is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and compassionate Special Education Teacher (LBS1) to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

LOCATION
Schools are located in the Maywood/Melrose Park area.

DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students' individual learning needs.
* Implement, monitor, and update IEPs to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
* Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
* Maintain accurate student progress reports and special education documentation.
* Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) endorsement required.
* Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required.
* Previous experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in a K-8 school setting preferred.
* Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
* Experience providing differentiated instruction and adapting curriculum to meet individual student needs.
